Dr. Farin is an amazing caring doctor. She is a miracle worker. For 54+ years I have lived with debilitating pain. I have been in a GoGo scooter unable to walk for several years. For the first time I can walk without pain. I can stand without pain. I can even cook and wash the dishes!!! I would definitely without a doubt highly recommend Dr. Farin.

I was recommended to Dr Farin by my neighbor accross the street. I owe him the best bottle of wine money can buy !!! Dr Farin has saved/cured me from 3+yrs of agony and pain. I first went to an orthopedic surgeon in Torrance Ca.. On 09/03/2020 she performed (attempted) spinal fusion of L/4 to L5 and was supposed to perform decompression of discs L3 to L5. The results were AWFUL!!!! I was in excruciating pain for 3+ weeks after surgery. I NEVER HAD ANY RELIEF !!!! I complained and complained to deaf ears, was told my pain was from arthritis and inflammation of the SI Joint. After 2yrs of WASTED - (Dr referred) - therapy, pain management - drugs, epidurals, and nerve blocks, ect. with zero positive results, I FOUND Dr Farin. She performed revision surgery on 11/11/2022. Today 11/17/2022 I am carefully walking without aids - walker,cane, ect. My pain level is 2 to 3 (out of 10), and I just had my JP drain removed and wound redressed by Dr Farin. We gave each other a hug - me for the miracle she performed on me and she for appreciation of how I handled the misery I had been put through by the previous surgeon. She said she was horrified at what she found during my revision - a loose and unnecessary piece of hardware which was removed during surgery - a major amount of scar tissue (all removed) and the need to decompress discs L2 through L5, which was supposed to be done during the previous surgery. I could go on and on about this but:

There's just so much to say, I had a lot of complications and Dr. Farin was always there for me no matter what day or what time and she really cared about me. She's an extremely competent surgeon.

Amazing doctor, my surgery was very complex and dangerous and life-threatening and it came out fine. I could hardly walk before she did the surgery. It was a cervical decompression. Now I can walk and get around fine. The pain is gone and have use in both my hands now, before I did not and can now use my legs now. The surgery was a success. Without the surgery, I would have been quadriplegic. We would not hesitate to refer her. She is completely dedicated to her craft and on the other hand and she is very thorough and will spend as much time with you as you need.

I underwent decompression surgery on Friday, October 21st, 2022. The next day I was up walking with assistance. The following day I was up walking relatively vigorously on my own. When I arrived home on Sunday, I shoved the walker provided by the hospital into a corner, where it has remained since. In the following days (one week after surgery) I have recovered remarkably well. I walked 4 blocks up and back to an eatery near my home, and am able to function almost normally; dressing, preparing meals, bathing. I have only taken one pain pill since arriving home. I almost feel normal again. Great job Dr. Farin!

I saw Dr. Farin for severe scoliosis of my spine. After about a year, I was in pain and the scoliosis was getting worse, so we discussed surgery. I had surgery about two and a half to three weeks ago. I was very nervous and Dr. Farin made me feel comfortable and confident about proceeding with the surgery. The first surgery was on the front of my stomach and everything went great. Three days later, I had the surgery on my back. She showed me new xrays and my spine is almost straight. Dr. Farin was amazing and extremely caring. I am doing so well. I would recommend her. She is a terrific neurosurgeon.

Always wonderful. Dr. Farin is always pleasant and very professional. I've been fighting my tumor for so long and Dr.Farin was the first one to step in, I would recommend her to anybody!!!

She is an excellent surgeon. I knew I wanted her to be my surgeon because she's very direct, but also compassionate. I got the sense that she knew what she was doing, and she gave me confidence. I was pleased to have immediate relief to my weakness before surgery. There were no complications and I highly recommend her. You can tell right away that she knows what she's doing.

I've had a bad back for a long time and was referred to Dr. Farin. She straightened my back and it's been 7 months and I've been doing good. I'd recommend Dr. Farin to anyone she can help. Most doctors are room jumpers, trying to see as many patients as they can but Dr. Farin is not. She does not leave the room until you are satisfied.
